Roundabouts! Love ‘em or hate ‘em, us New Zealanders don’t have a lot of choice but to use them, as we have a fair few up and down our country.
But have you heard of this super roundabout in Swindon? It’s actually 7 roundabouts in one! Have a look at this video to see it in action – what’s fascinating is that traffic flows around the larger, inner roundabout in an anticlockwise direction, and flows in the usual clockwise manner around the five mini-roundabouts and the outer loop.
And in case you’re wondering, it really does work, and has done for 60 years now!
