Fleetcoach was launched on the 13th May 2014 in front of 60 Fleet managers and road safety proponents, at the fourth annual Fleet Manager’s Day in Karapiro.
Head of Research for eDrive Solutions Ltd Dr Robert Isler spoke on the importance of using a coaching approach to achieving behavioural changes in drivers. This has been embedded right throughout Fleetcoach, and promises to shake up the Fleet industry significantly.
Fleetcoach Business Development Manager Christine Erkkila then spoke about the features that have been built into Fleetcoach in response to feedback from the fleet community. The new programme includes advice, templates, sophisticated reporting and end-to-end user management.
We unveiled and demonstrated the new Fleetcoach solution to attendees, and had significant interest in the new product on the day, as well as many leads to follow up on. Lucky Darrin from Fonterra won our prize draw for a hamper of goodies for his car.
Other speakers presented on Fleet tracking, how to choose the right tyres, and the Driveway Runover Kit was presented. Vehicles from many different manufacturers were available for attendees to check out, with strong emphasis on safety and innovation. The theme of the day was ‘maintenance’, and lots of practical advice was imparted, with many attendees discussing the road-related challenges faced by their organisations.
Congratulations to Monique Haines, Road Safety Coordinator of the Waikato Regional Council for yet another great event which is a ‘must attend’ for those in the industry, in a super location overlooking the Karapiro river. Overall it was a fantastic day, and a great networking and professional development opportunity for the attendees. We were thrilled to be able to present Fleetcoach as part of this event, and look forward to working with the fleet community who will be using it.
